Certainly.  Interestingly, I was in Staten Island a few months ago.  We went to see Sabbath in Holmdel on Sunday and hung out in Staten Island on Saturday (August 3-4).  We took the Staten Island Ferry over and back, we went to Joe & Pat's and Nunzio's, went to the Ocean Breeze Fishing Pier.  Was a really very nice place.  I figured with it technically neing part of NYC, that it would be insufferable to drive in, but it really wasn't bad at all.

Staten Island is more like a suburb in most parts, so it isn't as bad as say Brooklyn or Manhattan. Joe & Pat's has awesome pizza. I haven't been to Nunzio's in years.  Next time you are out this way let me know.  There are a few other good places to check out.  We could meet up for a drink or six.

Yeah, that was exactly it.  Suburby.  I really liked it there.  When we took the ferry to Manhattan, I couldn't, in good consience, leave Mahattan without having had a slice of pizza, so we went to Georgio's on Beaver Street, not far from the terminal.  WOW was that good shit.

We stayed at the Comfort Inn down by Fresh Kills.  Joe and Pat's did have very good pizza.  One of the beat cops at the St. George terminal recommended J&P's.  Nunzio's I'd seen recommended online.  It was very good as well, but the waitress was a little bitchy.  So we were there the afternoon and evening Saturday and Sunday morning, and we didn't get to do a whole lot.  But definitely next time we're out that way, I'll give a shout.

Yeah, the bitchy waitress thing doesn't surprise me.   :lol   It's something in the air here.   That just gets reflected in their tip.   ;)

Just added myself. Looks like I'm the northernmost member of dtf!  :tup

Holy shit. Is there even anything there, where you live?

Not really, no.  :lol

So there is a town called Norway to the west of changing_seasons called "Hammerfest"  :metal

I also find it ironic that a person with the handle "changing_seasons" lives in a place where the seasons are winter and cold-as-fuck winter.

Don't forget the slightly less cold but wet couple of months that pass for summer around here. :p

I see mine has been moved like half a kilometer. That doesn't seem too bad though compared to jingles new location! :lol

Edit: I see this has already been adressed in this thread, carry on.

Apparently several placemarks have been added with no identifying information.  Strange.  You're the one in Resistencia, correct?

Fixed it for you.  Lakeland, right?

There are 5 unnamed pins on the map.  3 in Florida, 1 in Arkansas, and 1 in Ohio.

Sorry bl5150 Frankston is only 40 mins from Eltham and it was hard to place an icon without ending up in the water.
