I don't see a limit on mine. Does it have something to do with the group permissions for people who have access to P/R? That seems to correspond with when it started.

I haven't required any access to the P/R section so I don't know if that could be the reason or not.

I would guess that we actually do have an unlimited capacity. I can't imagine there's an option back there that says "lol don't show them."

It definitely has to do with group permissions.  That's why I had my 4 stars added, and my cap immediately doubled.  The change to P/R seemed to have eliminated the cap, and now it appears they've reinstated it.  However, despite being at 134%, I've received 3 or 4 pm's just this morning, so I guess it isn't a hard cap at the moment.

For some reason, the cap wasn't set properly for the new group.  It's fixed now.  Or at least, it SHOULD be.

Yeah, I liked not having to empty my inbox nearly every day. Alls I was doing was making sure I didn't take advantage and I'd clear it out ever few days. 50 capacity can be a pain to maintain.
