^ I wouldn't say it's hated; fans' opinions on it are simply divided. A lot of people, including myself, think it's a great song and one of DT's best, but the amount of people who dislike or just can't get into it is about the same. Just take a look at the thread where KevShmev asked everyone to list their 10 favorite DT songs - SDV was among the top 25 songs in the final results, the other 2 Awake songs to make it to top 25 were Voices and Scarred.

But yeah, looks like SDV won't make it any further However, it's Nice to Know (let's see how many get this pun) that there's also a lot of appreciation for the song and if this was "vote for your favorite song" it would end up pretty high. Hopefully Scarred will do better, but it's another song that divides opinions strongly so I won't keep my hopes too high.

Well, if it's any consolation, those are still good songs.  Just not as good as the others.  Personally, I like every song on the album.

I think 6:00 is worse than Cauught in a Web, there's around 30 seconds of good music in CIAW that I really enjoy.

I used to dislike both 600 and CIAW, but seeing them live this past winter helped me a great deal getting into the former. Now Six O' Clock has grown to surpass Innocence Faded and Lie in my ranking.
