A DTF TV Show Tournament

I don't know that anything like this has been done before, but I wouldn't be surprised if it had. I was thinking the format look something like the World Cup....

If you don't know what that looks like, here is an example.



Pretty simple, 8 groups of 4 shows, for a total of 32 shows. If there is enough interest, I would be happy to organize it. I was thinking that it would make the most sense for everyone to nominate 3/5 shows (haven't decided yet, what do you think?), ranked. There will be a point system, and once the nomination period is over the top 32 shows will advance on to the group stage.

So... yay or nay?
