My prediction is that the P/R board at 5/8 is fixing to get an influx of new posters, though I really hope I'm wrong.  There really isn't the same level of discourse over there. 

edit:  oh, and OP probably is on crack.

I didn't think that I'd been banned from P/R, because I know I haven't made any posts recently that would have resulted in a ban, not by any reasonable standards, but I figured maybe while I was writing my Top 50 albums content things got out of hand in that atheism thread and someone decided to shut the entire section down.


I think that would be a terrible shame.  This is one of the most civilized communities I've ever seen with respect to those kind of topics.

I sincerely doubt that's it.  Things got a bit rowdy in there on the first page, but they quickly got better.  This seems like an administrative error to me (because I'm sure the forum software offers the mods the tools to move subforums between forums).

Sorry.  That was not meant to be as confusing as it ended up being.  There was one more switch I forgot to throw, so the new P/R board was there, but you guys couldn't see it, and I didn't realize you all couldn't see it.  I should have thought to post something in here as well.  Sorry for the confusion.

Out of curiosity, did people granted access to P/R have their PM limit lifted?  As soon as this went down my counter disappeared.  I'm guessing unintended side effect, but a damn good one, IMO.
