Had no idea Damian Wilson was back in Threshold. That quadruples my excitement for this new album.

Has anyone pre ordered this yet?  If so, where from, it seems to be a bit more difficult to get than expected.  My usual site doesn't have it released until Sep 11.

March Of Progress track-by-track pt.2 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xnx1JptFp7k

Seriously... super excited for this.  May have to start me a listening countdown of the discog at the beginning of September.

I've already started doing that, and I've got stuff that's new to me.  I recently bought "Psychedelicatessen" and "Extinct Instinct" since I never had heard either of them before.  Interesting to hear what they sounded like when they first started out.  Their sound has definitely evolved.

Good song, but I don't like Damien's voice very much. His vocals in the verses sound...meh.

(If it makes a difference, I've never heard his previous albums with Threshold).
Gadough isn't Hitler. He's much, much worse.

Just listened to the whole thing. Awesome album. The ending to The Rubicon is one of the band's finest moments. 9/10

It's pretty standard Threshold, but it's better than usually somehow. It's pretty much playing all the time here.  And yea, Damian Wilson sounds really good.

Pretty impressed with the new album! I was getting a bit bored of Threshold, but although the new album is basically more of the same, if just feels more tight and engaging than the last couple of albums. Great performance from Damian as well!

Only listened to it once and it's a long record and a lot to digest, but for a first listen it was excellent.  The bonus track was actually one of the best for me.

All I know is Damian's having a hell of a year so far, with Headspace, Treshold and Maiden United.   :metal

Eh, I don't know if I'd say Mac was "better" I just think they're different.  But I can definitely understand why some people might like Mac's vocals better.  In fact, I think I probably preferred his sound a little more, but with that said, I think Damian has done a fine job here.

Ok, apologies if there is/was one of these already, but the A-Z index and Search turned up nothing.  Can't believe we don't have one of these already.

Well, March of Progress is quickly turning into a contender for Album of the Year for me.  But the real reason I came to post was this from their FB page today:

Quote
THRESHOLD have been confirmed for next year's Sweden Rock Festival which takes place in Sölvesborg on 5-8 June 2013. Other bands on the bill include rock legends Kiss, Rush and Status Quo.

Fuckin Europeans get all the best shit - and I don't mean Zy's coke.  Zy, you better be going to this.

Album has moved from 'good' after initial impression to 'very damn good'.  I am pleased with the effort.
