Tough...but I guess I'll have to go with "Unquiet" this time, even though it is a great set-up/lead-in to "...In That Quiet Earth", and had they not been separate tracks (as they really do go together, like "Duke's Travels/Duke's End" and "The Cinema Show/Aisle Of Plenty"), I would be voting off "All In A Mouse's Night".

Unquiet...

Happy that Mouse's Night managed to last this long....sad that it will most likely be next.   One of my favorite PC-led tracks.

Than the pride that divides when a colorful rag is unfurled." - Neil Peart

I guess I'll have to go with "Unquiet" this time, even though it is a great set-up/lead-in to "...In That Quiet Earth"

They were originally one track.  I read an interview with Tony Banks years ago, and one quote that stuck with me was that they split the track in order to "give Steve more writing credits" on the album.  Banks talked about how Steve Hackett was showing signs of restlessness and issues working within the group.  Outsiders have suggested that even though the band was mostly a democracy, Peter Gabriel was generally seen as the leader, and the others were fine submitting to him, but when he left, Banks stepped up a bit and Hackett had some trouble with that.  Hackett was bummed that a lot of his writing tended not to make it onto the albums, while Banks' always did.  I guess by splitting the track into two, that made two tracks with Hackett writing credit, rather than one.  I thought that that was kinda lame.  It wasn't about the credit or even the money (which follows the writing credits).
