Notes:

Here we have (a little overdue, I'm afraid) the recording of the second italian show of the latest european leg of the DT tour in support of A Dramatic Turn Of Events. Incidentally, it was my first time attending a Dream Theater show, and I honestly have to say that my high expectations were met and even exceeded by a fair deal.
The whole band delivered an extremely strong performance, but a further individual note has been well earned by James LaBrie, who was definitely going through one of his "full on" nights!
The venue was almost sold out, with nearly 10.000 people coming from all over Italy to witness this musical event (the band was even featured on a two pages long article on Italy's leading newspaper).
Lastly, but most importantly, it should be mentioned that the band chose to dedicate the song "The Spirit Carries On" to an italian DT fan, Giuseppe Girolamo, who lost his life in the Costa Concordia tragedy. James's speech before the song, and later the actual song, sang by the biggest part of the crowd, were with no doubts the absolute emotional climax of an already outstanding show.
I hope you will all be able to feel the emotion and the happiness that filled the arena that bright day of February through my recording, and most of all, enjoy a couple of hours of the finest Dream Theater music.

Technical notes:

As you may have guessed, the show was a very loud one, with the distinctive Italian crowd partecipation being evident and prominent throughout most of the recording. At times, especially during Bridges, Spirit and Pull Me Under, you will have to concentrate to tell James's voice from the crowd's. Nonetheless, the singer is almost never drowned by the other instrument.
I was about ten meters away from the stage, dead center, and, despite the awesome "yelling" of the surrounding people (after which the bootleg is named), the recording went out really well. If you understand italian you will enjoy some amusing comments by a nearby group of young men during the Intro!

I see it's quite good, even though the master has lost a bit of depth during the master, as it was quite obvious with a shrinking from 2.8GB to 900MB. Maybe one day I will find some time to split the original unedited source and circulate it!

As for the crowd, yes, it was extremely loud! As a consequence, this bootleg has been labeled unsuitable for PetFish

The first song is just loud in every sense, then it gets loud in the right way, if I understand your point...

No unofficial bootlegs should ever be bought. Unfortunately it is not rare to see many of them go on sale for prices low or high on ebay or other websites, and I myself must admit that I have more than once given in to temptation and bought a couple.

But it's completely outrageous what that guy did. He printed the recording I made for everyone to share freely and put it on sale without even bothering to ask for a permission (which I can't give of course, but that I would have never given if I had the authority to do so) and solely for the purpose of getting some money.

No, I don't remove anything! But once a bootleg stays dead (0 seeds 0 leeches) for long enough it gets automatically deleted by the system. That's what happened. But you can still find it on the hub!

Ah, that's unfortunate. Speaking of the hub, I sent the e-mail to get my hub account set up, since I got access to the forums.
