I will add "rain" to my list of best sounds (the mention of waterfalls reminded me).

Oh, best thing ever. Especially if you get to sleep in and just lay there listening to it.  :heart

This. Most sounds involving water in nature are beautiful.

Worst:
Dentist drill.
That is horrible. I broke my jaw in 8th grade and had to go to a dentist/orthodontist/etc almost every week and I hated all those dentistry tools so much.

Laughter
That one could be under either category for me, depending on the type of laugh and in what scenario.

The good kind.  I was thinking the kind that occurs when you're with people that you care about and something funny happens and everyone just laughs and laughs.  So good.

It is only audible on vinyl, good luck trying to replicate it digitally.

Best:
Typing on a good, loud, clicky mechanical keyboard.
I've gotten used to it now but everyone else hates my Razer Black Widow keyboard because it's just so incredibly loud.  :sadpanda:

Opening a new jar of pesto. I swear it's the most satisfying click/pop ever.

ALSO when you have really crispy spinach leaves and you fold them in half so they kinda of crackle. That's pretty great.

And yes to whoever said the sound of bacon sizzling in a frying pan.

And the sound when you bite into a really crunchy apple.

...

I'm hungry.

Hitting the sweet spot of a baseball with a wooden bat. I love the sound of a home run swing.

I think the feel of it is a hundred times better than the sound.  Nothing like knowing that fucker is gone without looking.
