I haven't looked up the real lyrics yet, so I don't know what the actual words are, but I'll look them up after I post this. From Scarred:

"Won't let them fill me with fear and instant LEMONAAAAAADE!!!"

I always hear it as "Won't let them feel me with FELT ELASTIC RUBBER DAVES!"

I may have posted this misheard line from Blind Faith already, but whatever:

"And still I put shoes on
With or with a Jew"

In the Glass Prison I always hear

"You dug the hole but you can't bury your soul"

Actual Lyrics :

" There's a Story in your eyes.
I can see the hurt behind your smile
For every sign I recognise..
Another one escapes me.."

What I hear :

" See the stone set in your eyes
See the thorn twist in your side I wait for you
Sleight of hand and a twist of Fate....
On a bed of nails she makes me wait."

EDIT : Ok this was a joke - but only just realised how similar the first lines actually are :p

You know what? I hear the exact same thing!

I just listened to it for the first time in 5 months or so, and I have to say it's not a favorite of mine either - not bad, but it wouldn't be a huge loss if I never heard it again.

I always thought that phonetically, "symbol" and "cymbal" didn't have enough of a difference to even distinguish them, aside from the context.

I don't know, but "and a sample of your faith" sounds quite silly IMO. It would be like: " DO YOU STILL WAIT FOR YOUR GOD..... And a sample of your faith please. Very well, now fill in this form and you'll get word within two weeks."

Essentially, any misheard lyrics from TDEN would be better than the real ones.

Essentially, any misheard lyrics from TDEN would be better than the real ones.

If you say so, than here's my take:

NO ONE DANCES!
(speaking of eternal dancers)
live on a sensual morning
false to the void of night
HE HAS RISEN UP!
out of the kraken's chaos
at last over plants, it's sensual!
A thickening blast in sight!
Through the skypeing geek
Underneath the bearding brood
<I'm dead! Think of bed! You see, it's Agassi!!>
Fly in endless stairs leading to the choking room
<He groans to his whore! His boss, Shaquille, miss their eel!>
Drifting the anal time
Out of the cherry, in sky!
Dropped too much bacon in light
Of the barking thermal night......AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH
Crotches! Breaching the fort and fighting
Rachel's distracton is swallowing
The Ewok on the Union Jack
I. HAD. A. BLAAAAAAST.
Board on the bladder of heroes
The ultimate curse of God: creation
sense of relief: it's Coz!
Wresteles crabs drowning
aim the sturdy fodder, MIR!
<The sex owing fruit. Grotesque crèche! A butt HOOOLE!>
"Sharon's on the screen!"
Yellow week, Darth's faeces near.
<Fricking morning riffs! Goddess on the racks, burping high!>
Dripping the annual dime
Out of the cherry sky
Dropped too much bacon in light
Of the dark and turning wraith.
Trapped in a Hamish dream
Spitting passwords unseen
And fried food is vanishing
Into the dorking's turd all niiiiiiightt.
-instrumental-
Drifting the anal time
Out of the cherry's sky
Dropped tuna's bacon in light
Of the dark eternal night.
Trapped in a Hamish dream
Spilling passwords on Scenes
And fried food is vanishing
Into the dorking's turd all night.

The Ewok on the Union Jack

I'd like an entire DT concept album based around that line.
