To accurately reproduce bacon digitally, it requires a molecular resolution to capture the subtleties of the taste. To store even a single strip of bacon at that resolution requires terabytes of storage space on the servers. Not only does DTF not have that amount of storage space, but we don't have the bandwidth for every member to be downloading it.
I mean, do you really think the logistics haven't been looked into? We've tried advanced compression algorithms (both lossless and lossy), smaller strips of bacon, it just doesn't work. If bacon were that easy to upload, everyone would be doing it. Give it 10 years and maybe the technology will catch up.
