Have you forgotten rule #1 of the melodic rock thread? If either one of us likes something, the other one must dislike it. :lol

Yep. I think the only party in the MP/DT situation that hasn't moved on is DTF.

Yeah I know, but we'll see if that is still the unwritten law of this thread later on.  :tup

Just so you know I'll be going into listening to this album with negative thoughts already against it.  :lol

Blob liking it was a bad sign Kade but Blob suggesting that you won't like it overrides that and suggests you should enjoy it.  :lol

FWIW I thought it was a strong album.  You can tell it's not just another "project" with the house band/writers/producers.

I think I'm pretty well tuned in on whether wolfking is going to like something or not. See rule #1!

But hey, I hope by some miracle you like it too. I think it's really enjoyable. :tup

I'm kind of looking forward now to getting home late tonight and listening.  Won't pretend to like it if I don't though, will give it an honest apprasial.

I would guess you're more likely to dig the latter half of the album than the first half, if anything.

Shit, after I turned the Ted Poley off after song four with that dirty Issa bitch, I decided to go back and listen to the rest of the tracks, and surprisingly, everything after that song is pretty damn good, given the style.  Better than the Defiants I think.

That was my opinion a few pages back.
Haven't been back to either though.

Fuck yeah, new Hardline, hopefully it hasn't turned into the same old Frontiers formula but that whore Allesandro is back at it again so we'll see.  Josh Ramos back on the axe too, he's a tasteful guitarist.

I still need to listen more to Hardline. I've checked out the better stuff on Spotify and enjoyed it, and I'll check this one out. I also hope it doesn't become standard Frontiers fare.

Alright, I'm about 3/4 of the way through the Inglorious, and surprisingly it's quite solid.  Blob, you are right, this normally wouldn't be up my alley and I remember writing them off after the first song.  I'm not normally into this somewhat generic classic rock type thing as it's been done to death, but what these guys do here is quite fresh and well done.  The singer is amazing, although it's slowing down a lot and I'm losing interest at the moment as Girl Got A Gun plays.

I don't think it's quite purchase worthy but really nicely done for the style, and I think I'll listen a couple more times to properly judge.  Still somewhat undecided, but impressive.

I think at this stage the rule could still stand, this might just be a slight exception.

At least you gave it another fair chance, and I'm glad your opinion improved a little. I listened to it again today after our discussion, and found myself enjoying the second half more than usual.
They do the hard rock style pretty well, with a lot of energy, and killer vocals. I hope they manage to stick together for another album.

I like it. A couple of crackers on it, but a bit hit and miss. They are recording album number 2 now.

Sweeeeeet. I think for a first album, they did a great job, but I think they were also still finding their sound a bit. I have high hopes for their second album.

I think for a debut it's very good and well done.  Would be interested in hearing what they come up with for album number two also.

So I'm checking out Inglorious now. Not the type of music I usually spin, but it is really good so far. Great channeling of 70's Whitesnake with an updated sound. It's actually pretty cool, and not sure it deserves to be in the Wuss Thread.
would have thought the same thing but seeing the OP was TAC i immediately thought Maiden or DT related
Winger Theater Forums........or WTF.  ;D
TAC got a higher score than me in the electronic round? Honestly, can I just drop out now? :lol

It's Alessandro VanDamio's fault.

Shit, I'm actually really quite enjoying this Ted Poley, I feel so dirty.  Almost like if I saw a physical copy I'd pick it up.  There's some really good songs towards the end.
