Auto-resize avatars?
« on: October 24, 2011, 07:09:36 PM »
This and the MP.com forum are about the only forums I have been on where uploaded avatars aren't automatically resized to fit the parameters of the avatar size.

Anyway to change this? Or am I just doing it wrong?

I mean, it's unfortunate the forum doesn't have it, but it is easy in almost any photo program (including paint) to resize a picture.

For me this isn't a problem at all; what I found very weird is that the maximum size and weight isn't displayed anywhere, and I'm still uncertain what it really is.

This is a post everyone should read. (Not singling you out, but it would solve the problem in this case)

Oops. :lol Sorry, of course I read the rules but it was a while ago (so I didn't remember it being mentioned there). Anyway, what I meant is that usually it's displayed somewhere around the "upload avatar" option.

You mean on uploading the avatar to the server?
