Actually, it was rarewaves-usa, and they sell a ton of stuff so I was surprised they sold this for so little. Maybe they just didn't understand the value of it.

Huh, I had no idea it was rare. I have it and watched it once  :lol

Maybe I should sell it. I do see that Newbury Comics (great seller, bought from them many times) is selling at least one in very good condition through Amazon for $19.99.

My Dad is a huge Beatles fan, as am I thanks to him, and he has a saying that may apply here. He always says to me "The best Beatles album is the one you are listening to." I think that holds weight with The Dear Hunter

I'd say that definitely applies to Acts II - IV.

Sounds like it could have been on the Green EP from TCS (I don;t think that's just the influence of the video)

New podcast linked from their Facebook page. Casey discussing Acts I-V, I haven't listened to it yet but I think it's the first of a five part series where they discuss each Act individually. I might be wrong but if I'm not this will be really good and really in depth.

Will report back soon.

That podcast was really cool and worth a listen. It was 1 hour 25 minutes and was just concentrating on Act I, which was really cool. I really hope they do the podcasts for Acts II-V before the new album drops, will get me well hyped.

They talk quite a bit about the upcoming comic book for the first Act. Can't wait for that.

Going to check out all the podcasts eventually, but for now I'm just super psyched for the new album (coming out in just 8 days!!)

Really hope they play somewhere close to me this time around aswell, I feel like the small following in the rest of Europe made them circle around the UK quite a bit. But I'm not worried, this is the final act tour and I'm pretty confident I'll be able to see them.

Yea, check out the podcast when you get a chance dude. Can't wait for the album, it drops the same day as the new Devin Townsend (which I have managed to hold out from listening to) so they will be all I listen to for at least a week I think!!

Really looking forward to the announcement for the European tour. I've promised myself that I will see them as many times as I possibly can on their next tour. Hopefully hit up at least 3 gigs or something. Tickets on their last tour were only £10!!!

That's crazy, even when you convert it to euros, I don't think I've ever been to a show that cheap apart from the free ones. And taking into account that it's probably my most favorite band at the moment it's unreal.

Wonder if they'll have some cool merchandise stuff for this tour, I rarely get band t-shirts or anything of the like but I feel like they deserve all the money they can get. Don't know if I'm alone in this but I'm not a fan of the standard "black shirt with band name/album logo" pattern.

I know what you mean dude. Last time I bought a T-shirt before the show, even though I didn't particularly like the designs they had. They were SO good live that after the show I just decided they needed more money for a performance like that. I bought Migrant again, even though I have it, and gave it to my Dad and then just gave the merch guy an extra tenner. I hope they get to the level where they can tour over here at least every two years.

The did a short European tour like 6 months ago.  They don't get over there often, but they try when they can.  So word yet whether there will be a European tour this time around but it's not impossible.

6 months ago? Preeeetty sure that was just the UK then, I understand that theyre a pretty small band and cant afford to go through the entirety of Europe but I want to see my favorite band, just once.

Hey guys: https://www.heavyblogisheavy.com/2016/09/07/the-dear-hunter-act-v-hymns-with-the-devil-in-confessional/

Rated 5/5, hype now through the roof. This blog, by the way, is the one that scrutinized all four previous Acts to give a lyrical analysis of what the story is.

Was just coming here to post this. I like it. I liked it more than Gloria on first listen. It feels similar to Act IV which I'm more than happy about. I really hope that Act V is a darker counterpart to Act IV. The new song has a slightly darker feel I guess and the album art is definitely darker. It could be night to Act IV's day.

Looks like I called it with the darker sounding album here. That review was incredible, can't wait for this freaking album!!

Pretty sure we will. Midnight in America is about 10:00 tomorrow morning for me I think. I need this album in my life. Tomorrow night I have a date with this album, the lyrics and some top quality ale

Well, that last line of Regress (the obligatory Oracle intro track) does not bode well for our hero, The Boy.
