sounds like the Colors EPs will likely be released early in 2011. Act IV is going to be worked on next summer.

Is colors one EP with all the songs representing different colors or an EP for each color?
Cole: "Ow I just got hit in the balls"
Me: "How?"
Cole: "Well you know when you try to scratch your balls, and you scratch too hard?
I'll admit sometimes I want to listen to Dragonforce.

If you've heard about any sort of Colors leak (Black in particular) don't get excited.  Apparently (APPARENTLY, I haven't listened to it) it's just music from Casey's previous band The Receiving End of Sirens.

I know, just clearing things up for anyone who might have been confused... if not for a friend, I wouldn't have known The Receiving End of Sirens if I had heard them.

not a lot of new info, but it does mention they will be self-released at the beginning of next year. January?

Also it's curious why they fail to mention Porcupine Tree on that tour with Coheed.

Here's a video they have posted for Black.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tfMZn6sYl3E&feature=player_embedded

It's pretty different from what they've done in the past but I'm loving it so far.

Listening now. What I liked about the Red one was just the fact that they stayed in that groove. New territory for the band.

Both those vids are very promising and exciting!

I imagine some big soaring vocals (possibly harmonised) in the half-speed section at the end of that red one!

Black sounds a lot more interesting compared to Red.  Hopefully the vocals on Red make up for the okay music.

I listened to this a while back, and it didn't do anything for me, but I'm listening to it a second time and enjoying it very much. Makes me even more excited for the Coheed/PT show.
