Elegant Weapons - Horns For A Halo
« on: June 09, 2023, 02:44:18 PM »
Just did a search and didn't find anything on this new supergroup.

Richie Faulkner - Ex Priest
Ronnie Romero - Ex Rainbow vocals
Chris Williams - Accept on drums
Dave Rimmer - Uriah Heep on bass

Just finished a full spin ( streaming for free) and it kicks some serious ass. Ordered it immediately after the spin. Outstanding sonic values too. Check it out.

Agreed, much better than expected and Romero sounds much more inspired bringing a fantastic performance.

Although think the thread title should read Elegant Weapons?  ;)

Hahaha! I just realised the thread title said Elephant Weapons! Classic!

Yeah, not a bad album. Will need to give it a few more spins.

Richie isn't ex-Priest, this is just a side project.

TAC will be a meh because Ronnie is on vocals.

I've been meaning to check it out but haven't yet.
beul ni teh efac = Lube In The Face / That has to be wrong.  :lol / EDIT: Oh, it's Blue! I'm an idiot.
Pardon the interruption, but I just had to run in and celebrate the majesty of Lube in the Face as highest moment in roulette history

I wasn't a huge fan of Ronnie (or maybe the hype around him) on previous releases but this is pretty good. It's an enjoyable listen.
