After all was said and done I was under the impression that that was Smokey/MIB in the cabin.
yea it might have been, but once again i dont like the way they steered smokey either. we had two mysterious beings with infinite possibilities. i think they completely blew it having it boil down to the jacob and Man in Black we all know now

You mean how they portrayed them or the actors playing them?

I had no problem with Mark Pellegrino, I think he's fantastic and I loved how ironic it was that the year before he was playing the devil in Supernatural and now was playing this god-like being on Lost.

God-like being, heh. I think he was closer to being the devil than the MiB. Well, I guess that they just symbolize light and dark, but what's good and evil is a totally different question.

My box set got here, holy shit now I understand why I haven't seen this under $180!! It easily weighs 9 pounds and it's full of little nuggets for Lost fans! it was a fucking steal for $99!!

That theory basically sums up everything. I don't care if the makers intended that theory to be correct, I'm going to use that now as my way of explaining Lost to people.

A friend of mine got the plain ole DVD version of that collection a year or two back. We've been playing Senet as Jacob and the MiB (I'm Jacob) on Friday nights since fall 2010. :lol
