I'm currently reading Ian Fleming's second James Bond novel "Live and Let Die"

I recently finished up his first novel, Casino Royale, which was excellent.

What are you reading?

I had to read that a couple years ago for a Western Civ class. Snoozer.

Right now I'm reading textbooks.

Agreed, though I hated the ending of the first book, it's kinda putting me off on starting this one.

Up Country by Nelson DeMille.  Not my usual fare, but my mother recommended it.  Not bad, but a little long.

I'm considering it, I honestly wasn't all that impressed with the first novel, but I have a professor who is really encouraging me to read the rest as he loves them. I will certainly be taking a break before returning, but I may in the future finish it up.

Just finished reading ''La vie devant soi'' by Romain Gary (I think the english translation is ''The life before us''). It's basically a love story between a 14 year old arab and an old dying jew women. It's truly a great book, I'd recommend it to anyone.
