Free Boots
« on: August 25, 2014, 09:28:21 PM »
I have been trading/collecting for about 20 years, but it is now time for me to move my collection on for others to enjoy.  I have various boots of bands such as DT, Rush, Yes and many other prog bands.  I would like to give them away free of charge, I will even pickup the poastage (US only).  I will take emails privately for the next 24 hours.  I am not going to mess with people making picks, I will just split it up as evenly as possible in regard to how many respond.  Send me a private message with your mailing address.

Peace,
vaporpark

Actually, I stated I would only pay for US postage not that I would not send them outside the US.  What are you 12, free is not good enough? ROCK ON!

Just joking, mate. I'm 16, not 12. Sorry for jumping to conclusions. I am quite interested though.

What does this collection mostly consist of? Is there GDT stuff? Silvers? Is it all online?

Considering he's mailing it, one would guess it's not online haha

Maybe he's mailing his HD  :lol

I asked him about the content, but he didn't disclose anything. Since I live across the ocean, I cannot afford the shipping without knowing beforehand if I am going to get something I am interested in, so I just folded this one time.

Sadly, I must do the same. I guess I could swim to the USA, pick up his boots, and then swim back to the UK. They might be a bit soggy though.  :lol

If he's still giving them away I could take them.

i sent a pm to him about three or four weeks ago, and he said he'd send some boots my way the week after. they never arrived, and I don't really have my hopes up that they will...
I don't want MP playing with DT unless they were making a drummer change. If they let MM go and bring back MP, then fine, but no guest appearance please.

Any men's size 10.5? Wide preferred. Plz PM me.
I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

In my experience our arbitrary units are more practical for the laymen's applications.

Plus, it was all Britain's idea!

And yet I believe you use Watts as units of power, right? Not only stubborn, but also inconsistently so  :P

Everybody uses Watts, it's metric, joules/second, or better kg x m^2 / s^3.

No seriously. I could use a good pair of boots for work. The ones I have now I traded for (gave a guy a beer and a pack of smokes... no joke)

44 in EU sizing?

Black.

Zip side preferred.  I will pay postage.

Ok I'm done.

i definitely will when I get around to it. It's a LOT of stuff... went through it quickly and found about 4 or 5 DT shows, some Queensryche, Sigur Ros, Flower Kings, Rush, etc... it may take a few days to compile a list, but it'll happen soon
