The lass should become a comical villain, and every time they meet up, they end up getting their freak on, just a note

Nah, there's plenty of time for that later.  I think:

Give her a charming smile. Offer her bacon.

But then lonestar, who is deeply offended, steps in to voice his displeasure, and she becomes deeply puzzled and distracted by the fact that he is wearing her clothes.  Duncan uses this to escape and go after Herman.

Run with lonestar's interference, and have the chick make sweet, sweet bacon grease with the bacon master.

And then the chase is on!

...and then she gets her freak on with lonestar and sneaks away at night while he is sleeping, but not before stealing her clothes back and his chef duds, leaving him with nothing but his frying pan to cover up with.

Work on chapter 20 of Duncan's Amazing Journey is underway.

You know, the hardest part every time doing these is ending on a good point that leaves plenty of room for new suggestions on the next part. Writing my way around to that is always a fun challenge.

I love this thread SO MUCH.

Duncan should fall down on his knees and pray "Thy will be done".

That oughtta get the door open.
"All great works are prepared in the desert, including the redemption of the world. The precursors, the followers, the Master Himself, all obeyed or have to obey one and the same law. Prophets, apostles, preachers, martyrs, pioneers of knowledge, inspired artists in every art, ordinary men and the Man-God, all pay tribute to loneliness, to the life of silence, to the night." - A. An unexpected and totally irrelevant Star Wars cameo is never a bad thing, right?

I'd inform the guy that his daughter is getting it on with the bacon man. Clearly there are unresolved daddy issues here, so that might stir him out.

If not, then I will make the contrived assumption that Duncan took a fork from the bacon stand, which he will use to dig his way through the solid door. This will obviously take him a long period of time.

I also need to say that even though I've met lonestar in real life, I can't help but read his parts in Tim Allen's Buzz Lightyear voice, which for some reason makes them even funnier.
