Sounds like you've got a problem with how they market their product. You can't just lay a blanket statement on a group of people like that mang.

For a person who does not like racism, you sure did step in it with this statement. I was a Jock and a musician in HS and I hated those products.

First, that's not racism.

Second, I said "bunch" and the truth is, I have encountered a "bunch" of these people, so it makes it true.
Third, I've been pretty much joking about this. I've made sweeping generalizations like this before to the same effect. Never take anything I say litteraly unless I say Metallica is the best band ever.

Any time anyone makes a generalized statement that lumps what he supposes is an accurate subsection of a culture into a purported group, he steps in it.

He didn't say it was racism, he said you're against racism as an example of a sort of hypocrisy.
Secondly, your experience does not make it true; your experience makes it so that what YOU have encountered deems it so in your opinion. Your experience alone does not constitute truth.
Thirdly, "OMGJKHAHAHA" does not a rebuttal make.

Ok, I'm not defending myself. All I'm saying is that I don't like Axe's intended target market and the way they use the media to get people to buy their products. The jock thing was a bit too far, but I hate the "Dur. Where dis and youz get hot womenzzzzzzz!!1!!1!!11one!!!"

Edit: Same thing with American Eagle, Aeropostale, and Abercrombie and Fitch

Granted I don't think I can assign a specific group to this habit, I do think a very high concentration of them tend to congregate in gym locker rooms: "Oh I just finished working out and took a shower but I think I still might reek of gymfunk so I'm going to whip out my bottle of cologne and spray my neck, back, arms, stomach, crotch, legs, shirt, underwear and pants 37 times regardless of how many others around me can now taste it and are having convulsions from it."

I don't either and I hate the commercials big time. I will never post the picks of me waring Z Cavariccis from the 80's. Talk about douche.

I smell like Irish Spring. I have it in both soap and deodorant forms. If there were a shampoo I'd get that too.

I found some deodorant a while back where the fragrance was actually called Sweet Surrender. Had no choice but to buy it. It could have smelled like ruptured spleen, but how can you not buy Sweet Surrender deodorant.
