I doubt they would. Jon never performs anything but IE material on tour. He's very strict with that sort of stuff.
Maybe he'd do a separate tour for it, but I doubt it. I'd think this would remain just a studio type thing.

Say what you will about Ripper, but the fact is the guy had his priorities set. Anytime IE needed him, he'd be there.
Schaffer wanted a guy who isn't going to do anything else musically, but when you live exclusively off of touring, which
Tim does, it's not always going to pay the bills, especially when they do maybe one tour a year. As you can see, Tim is having
to tour under 4 or 5 different bands to make enough to support his family.
Now we're stuck with a very inactive band as Matt's priority is being a police officer, which is fine, I have no issue with that.
But I'm sure it won't be long before Jon realizes that going with Matt is going to cost him even more because of the inability
to live off of the road. To me, IE is no longer an active beast to anticipate. It's sadly a band with such potential that will never
quite reach the apex it should've. They're gonna remain a cult band, which is a shame. I felt they had the potential to break
a little bigger then that.

For a good 5 year stretch, IE were my favorite American band. They've fallen by the way side due to some shoddy business decisions
and just general bad choices on the part of Jon. I guess I'll always love'em deep down, but I can't lie. My genuine enthusiasm plummeted many moons ago and continues to wane.

I've been listening to The Clouding lately and I love this song. The first part remonds me of very early Rainbow (1st album era), especially in the chorus, and it breaks out into a wicked Black Sabbath section around 5:35. I'm having trouble placing that Sabbath riff though...
would have thought the same thing but seeing the OP was TAC i immediately thought Maiden or DT related
Winger Theater Forums........or WTF.  ;D
TAC got a higher score than me in the electronic round? Honestly, can I just drop out now? :lol

Haha yeah that is Tim's best Dio impersination  ;D

I love that song, and more specifically the entire album. I felt part 2 was a bit of a let down (besides not having Tim's vocals)
in that part 1 was a great set up and the part 2 just didn't really resolve everything as nicely as I had hoped...although it still is a
decent album.

Switch the two names around and this is correct!

I do like both of them but Barlow is the best singer for them.

It's an eternal debate that never ends. I'm in the minority. The tone of Tim's voice with Jon' riffing is magic. It can never be duplicated with any other two musicians.

Barlow is one of my favorite vocalists. Maybe even my favorite. So for me it's Barlow 100%.  IE without him doesn't feel like IE

You never know. We'll see what happens when Yngwie kicks him out after the second album.

I tried to listen to it but Ripper is mixed so low and sounds so thin it's unbearable.

I'll bet had Yngwie left Roy Z alone and let him mix it by himself, it would've sounded better. In fact he should've let him produce it, too.

I'd like to clarify that I myself do love Barlow's vocals. His contributions with IE plus the Pyramaze album he did are all classics.
But the Owens/Schaffer combo just fit better to me. I might even go as far as to say that the Demons & Wizards sound "clicks"
in my brain a bit more then IE with Matt...But musically, in regards to impact, those records have always had more weight and
importance to me.

If I had the extra money, would this be worth it? This is definitely rare, but no one has bought this and it's always on, so I wonder if the guy is asking way too much. I always miss out on the CD version when someone finally puts it up. This is the only version of Night of The Stormrider I don't have, not counting the European album cover variants.

I'll give you both a heads up. Their first singer, Gene Adam is terrible but the music is really good. Night Of The Stormrider is my favorite IE album so I recommend it to everyone. John Greely isn't a bad vocalist either.

to me it has Jon's best song-writing skills. His structures have gotten boring but early on, he was taking some cool twists.

Is the tour free? No? We have to pay for tickets? We have to pay taxes on the tickets? We have to pay the federal government money to see a show about how bad the federal government is?
