I can't quote posts

Here at work I use IE8 and I can't seem to quote posts. I get a popup window that says 'Retrieving Quote...' but then nothing happens.
 
I haven't tried any other browsers today, but I recall it working at home this weekend with the latest Firefox.   
 
Anyone else having this issue?

Dramatic Turnings. I tried it just now in Beneath The Surface but it doesn't work there either.

In that case I suspect it may something related to the javascript engine IE8 uses. I dont have access to IE8 though so I cant try and replicate it.

I installed Firefox now to test it, and it works great in FF. So yeah, it must be something with IE8.
