Anyone see that new show 'Curiosity' on Discovery last week? It was all about the female orgasm. There is no way women don't enjoy sex just as much as men. Based on girls that I hang out with, they want sex just as much. They openly talk with about trying to find dudes to get it in them, or failed atte,pts at bars of hooking up. Both sexes need to enjoy sex, it's what keeps the species going.

What age is the "average" man?

Despite the thread title, I was really just hoping for people's gut reactions, based on their day-to-day experiences. I'm not trying to find the "correct" answer, but just what general perceptions people have about the question.

There's usually more variation between individuals than between genders, so probably equal. Women are just more complicated about it.

I have no idea. Sex is pretty uninteresting to begin with, so it's hard for me to see how other people perceive it beyond what they say (which is undoubtedly affected by social expectations).

I agree with most of this. I can easily see many flaws the grand majority of people in both genders. People stereotype men as being douchey and horny, but in reality, they're just more open about it. Reminds me of the "men judge women by their looks" thing, from what I've seen, the grand majority of both genders judge people by their looks.

Something interesting I've noticed is that in my school, girls are pretty much obsessed with love and having boyfriends. While most of us boys are very laid back when it comes to that, with the exception of the inevitable douchebag gangster group.

I may be a bit young and inexperienced when it comes to this stuff, but I'm pretty sure that genders are more equal in this regard than most people think.

The reason it often seem like it's unbalanced with men being perverts/women being angels, is because it is unbalanced. If you and your peer group are a bunch of teenagers.

From accounts I've heard from much older dudes, like lonestar, older (i.e. 30s and 40s) ladies who are completely sexually and mentally mature can be total sex freaks. As much as Sir GuitarCosmo can be, representing the older, slutty dudes.

So, I guess it starts out uneven and evens out around age 40 or so?

I can say that it's not just age but whatever someone is going through in life too.. and if there's a relationship, that makes a big difference too. In my last relationship, it was definitely me who wanted it more. Now, it's the other way around.
