Just finished season 2. Not sure how I'd rank it against Frisky Dingo, but it was fucking hilarious either way.

AVC: Some of the actors really look like the characters. Was that just a coincidence, or did you give the animators sort of an idea of who you were thinking of for the roles?
AR: No. It was all a coincidence. Those are all local models from Atlanta. We used real people and dressed them up in period clothes. Lana’s character model is a flight attendant here in town. Cyril is a guy we know who runs a restaurant. So we just grabbed people around here, and then it was just sort of a fluke that they ended up looking like, to some extent, their real-life counterparts. Aisha’s hands aren’t as big as we always make fun of Lana for having. The model for Archer is an electrician here in town and is exactly that handsome and also really nice. So there’s just no reason to like him.

Whoa, now I want to see the people they actually modeled them after.

And that really is a crazy coincidence, because some of the characters look a lot like their voice actors, and I swear I'd also read that they were modeled after the voice actors (I think on wikipedia, which is always accurate).

I'm maybe halfway through season 2 of Archer (while concurrently watching new episodes) and holy hell do I love this show. My favorite moment might still be from Killing Utne, when Archer loses it about Woodhouse "thinking he's people" because he went to sit at the table for dinner. Woodhouse is the fucking man

Another great episode this week. It definitely feels like they're planning to do more with this story arc, because they left a few things open.

Archer's dead fiancee reappears....... in Kreiger's lab.
Considering Kreiger is fast becoming one of my favourite TV characters of all time, this can't lose.

I had said prior to the season that I thought Kreiger would take a dominant role and be awesome this season. For the first three episodes I could not have been more right.

Kreiger's become a much more important character over time. He obviously wasn't supposed to be a big character from the start of the series (he didn't even talk in the first episode), but he's just hilarious every time he's in an episode, and he's had almost as much character development as the rest.
It's no coincidence that my favourite episodes are the ones with Kreiger, so I'm really excited for this next one. Hopefully it's a Kreiger-heavy episode, but if not, I'm sure his involvement will be great regardless.

I love Krieger so so much. If it weren't for all the Rush crap, he'd be the greatest character in all of television history. But I'm glad it had a lot of Krieger in the episode, as I'd hoped, and it was another hilarious episode.
