Do you draw those by hand on paper and then scan them? Or do you do the whole thing on the computer?

Very, very, nice. May I ask how much time that took to make?

At the moment I'd probably say at least 15+ hours. I work on my pixel arts at random times, and usually at night when I have free time. Sometimes I'll sit down and have a legitimate session where I get a lot accomplished, but at the stage it's at now, basically only refinement and pixel-level detailing needs to be done. And thank you, I really appreciate it. :)

That is so tranquil. Love it.

Thanks! That was definitely the feeling I was going for...perhaps a sense of intrigue and wonder as well.

There's been a few pixels that I have sketched out beforehand and scanned, but most of the time I don't. What you see here was done in MSPaint from scratch-- I started the sketch with my tablet, and then once I have most things the way I want them, I use the mouse to do the detail work. It's still got a decent way to go, too!

Using Google's search-by-image, I've found that all of the images you've used for these album covers are different wallpapers and pieces made by different artists. It's okay to use the images as album covers, but I don't like that you're claiming to have created every image from scratch.

None of these were created by the same artist and it would be absolutely fine for you to use these images in your album covers if you stated that you were using other artists' work, but otherwise it's not right.

Aha. As I was looking over the images it was confounding me as to how the imagery was so strong yet the type was so weak. Now it all makes sense. For shame.

Would anyone be interested in doing a commission piece?

Bf's and my anniversary is the first week of December, so I'm looking for a present for him. I would like some sort of portrait of us, something we could frame and put on the wall.

Does not matter if it's sketched, colored in, painted, etc. Just looking for something amazing. Also okay if more than one person wants to do one, we are looking to decorate the house.

If you don't mind a pencil drawing that isn't totally perfect, I would most definitely be up for it.

Here are the previous pencil style things I did (many years ago) if it is good enough.

A chicken, the name of which I forget.

A portrait of my old chinese teacher (my only commission so far)

A girl wot I knew.

Me,too! Let's keep posting!
This is work in progress of Deadpool(a comic book hero for those that don't know). The video is 5 minutes long but it is about 2 hours in real time. I'll probably finish it tonight. I hope you like it.

As you can see, I originally went for Spiderman. Mid way through I changed my mind though.

The overall form is looking good, but the main problem I see is the arms/shoulders. They'd be fine for a female, but they're disproportionally small for a guy. Aside from that, it looks like a pretty good start to me, although I'm no expert on drawing humans. :)
Only King could mis-spell a LETTER.
Yep. I think the only party in the MP/DT situation that hasn't moved on is DTF.

Do you have a close up of the that looks like something burning up in the atmosphere?

Woo THEDude that's great! I love being in art shows, such a fantastic feeling when you inspire others or get people talking about something you've created. We totally have to collaborate someday, sir.

I've currently been oil painting A LOT for college so hopefully I'll be putting some stuff up soon.

Heretic, I immediately thought of you when I saw this. Have you tried this method?

Apparently, there's a site full of these.

https://www.effectgames.com/demos/canvascycle/

The method is called Color cycling.

Ali, I think it looks awesome.  Not all guys are so buff like Bane.  Very nice.  Can't wait to see the finished product.

Yeah I've seen this a ton of times before, it'd be something to try in the future, definitely! Thanks :D

Here's two oil paintings from the past few weeks in class.

This one was done using a palette of only orange, blue, white, and black; orange and blue are complementary colors, which makes for an awesome contrast in the image.

A quickie landscape that utilizes space and contrast through color.

I think I've said this before Heretic, but my dream is to become a published author, and if I ever do I could see myself asking you to do the cover art for it. I have such an appreciation for the beauty of nature, like lakes, woods, mountains, and you seem to share that same appreciation. I love all of your work!

I can see what Blob was getting at, the neck is/was too roided in comparison to the arms, I'm fixing it in-between 3000 word essays :P

Digggin the oil painting, and major props for it too. That's a really hard medium to work with.

Ali, you should paint for fun. Painting for crap isn't nearly as much fun. But on a serious note, who says you have to paint literal work? abstract is just as mesmerizing.

As for me, I am finishing up a drawing. Should be done soon. Pic to come.
