Wow. If I ever get a fantasy novel published (I know the chances are slim  :() can I get you to do the cover artwork?  :lol I love the style of it!  :tup

Thanks! And sure, that'd be awesome. I'm a huge fan of the fantasy genre, especially when done well and without the typical cliches.

I love coming to this thread. There is so much that makes me happy here.
I'll have to keep up the work alongside you, Heretic. You inspire me. Thank you.

Thank you! You inspire me tons as well, man! Everyone in this thread does, I'm glad it was made. :metal

Wow! How much time did it take you?

Right now it probably has at least 4-5 hours or work on it, but it's nowhere near complete. Lots of refining and detailing to do yet, pixel art is incredibly specific and intimate, as you probably know, haha. By the end it'll have a lot more hours than that.

Nowhere near complete? Waiting to see it finished! Also, I just now saw your sig, I'm now watching you on DA!

Here is an evil Flash I'm doing for a contest. The eye irises are not exactly circular but I'll fix that.

That's some amazing work there Stonestef!

Seeing as I haven't posted anything up in a while, here you go, my design for a tattoo :3 I still want to incorporate Pain of Salvation in there somewhere whilst keeping it relatively balanced, but I'm not sure what to use :3 Also, the curl near the bottom doesn't quite flow into the thinner Perfect Circle curve and I'm struggling to fix that

By the way, does anyone know where I can find a good, thick, rolling smoke tutorial for Photoshop, think the smoke monster from Lost :3

That is a great tattoo design. I wish I could incorporate all 5 of my bands into one, but it could never happen. So glad you were able to do it smoothly. And despite what you say I think the swirl at the bottom of the thinner APC curve actually looks good. Don't change anything.

It's a different kind of creativity, but this was my afternoon project. The first coat is drying now.

I wrote a short story last week called Hit And Run and I am currently adapting it into a screenplay, as I hope to be turning it into a short film either during film school or after film school. The story is a little over five-thousand words, so if I were to post it, I'm assuming I would have to post it in two or three chunks, right?

Oh my god that canoe is BA. spraypaint for the win!

My girlfriend says to me one day that she would love to see how I would draw her. She loves how I draw and paint, so I say, "sure, when do you want to pose?". She then tells me she would rather see how I think of her, not how I view her in real life. So, I found this large sheet of paper that's been lying around the 'studio' for god knows how long, and I begin. At first I was all, meh, but then I fucking blew up in creative passion!

Here's How I view her:

Funny stories behind this drawing, but I'd rather let you fine people enjoy it for now.

Looks great man, and knowing that there is a special meaning behind it makes it even better. What was your girlfriend's reaction when she saw it?

When she saw it she didn't know what to make of it at first, haha. After she took it all in, she said that it was amazing, told me she loved me and then she kissed me.

I must have done something right

Not exactly my most creative, but my new Facebook Timeline cover is totally custom, and below that I have a digital presentation of a logo/business card I created for a private client.

You should get this book:

It goes into great detail on all the bones, muscles and features. chapter three is essentially the hand and nothing else. It helped me get a handle on hands, maybe it can help you too.

I will check them out, too. I have Dynamic Anatomy by Burne Hogarth which helps you a lot with posing your characters. And I also have about 17gb of video tutorials with Vilppu. He goes through everything. You can find some on youtube.

Dynamic Anatomy is an artist's essential book IMO. it is like having SFAM as a must for any DT fan. It's expected to have.

By the way, here are some other Visceral sketches I've done:

"An Angel" (featuring my girlfriend)

"A Demon"

"A Face"

Nice style man, I especially like the third one. Those random (not sure if it's the right word) drawings seem easy to do but when you try it, you realize it's a bit difficult to come up with something interesting. Here is something similar by me, I don't think I have posted it before.

Random is a good word for it. My work is very visceral and instinctual by nature, so for some to call it random is expected and complimentary. So thank you.

Your work is very much "Giger meets Burton" kind of feel. The face almost reminds me of both Sally from Nightmare Before Christmas and the face from Brain Salad Surgery by ELP. I really like the form and shape, but, as constructive criticism, I recommend integrating the same amount of detail shown in the base into the rest of the form. It feels more unified that way. Otherwise I really like it.  :tup

Here's a quick noodle around of Optimus Prime I drew. Probably about an hour of work on the graphics tablet. Turned out pretty good for a rough sketch.

Wow some amazing stuff here. Figured this would be a good thread to ask for this.

But I am looking for someone to help design and create artwork for my musical projects. If any of you would be kind enough to work with me, please send me a PM. Obviously good photoship skills are good as well as a creative mind. I'd really appreciate it.
