Thoughts?

The first season was amazing. Let's hope the new season is longer and just as good as before.

Sweet, I enjoyed the first season, even though it was short.

The first season was meh.  They fired all the writers though, so I'm hoping for better stuff this season.

Just finished watching the first episode, actually.  Love it so far, but I hope they learn the rules of zombieland later in the season.

First season had some great moments in it, not bad at all for a starting show. Can't wait til they get to the prison.

On episode 4, so far my favorite character is Glenn.  He's the best "sidekick" type character since Hurley.

What's the rules of zombieland?

I mean there are the rules of Zombieland, which means this list of rules from this funny movie with Jesse Eisenberg and Emma Stone, or just rules of living in a zombie apocalypse in general (which was what I meant).  For example I thought it was pretty foolish for Rick to waste that one bullet on the crawling zombie in the pilot, and Morgan and Duane would have done well to follow him, even if it was into a zombie deathtrap.

And actually generally speaking, the movie Zombieland sums up the rules of living in zombieland pretty well:

I loved the first season for the most part. I look forward to this season. If filming is done, why do we have to wait until October?

It looks like they aren't sticking too close to the source material in terms of story. This makes me happy.

I think the first season had a great start but then went a little down hill. Still, I really liked it and I'm waiting for the second season all :caffeinne:

Post production on a show of this quality is massive.

Yeah, I seen that. The article I read didn't go into many specifics, though. He could possibly still be involved in the show's production on some level? Seems like nobody really knows at this point.

Just finished Season 1. :caffeine:

Can't wait for Season 2, but I don't know how I'm gonna watch it as I don't have cable. Might have to wait a whole lot longer... :(

This show is amazing.

This show is meh.

I hope they can fix the problems it had in season 1 though.  But all the drama surrounding the production doesn't imbue me with confidence.

What problems?

Bad writing.  Annoying characters.  Wild divergences in tone and pacing from episode to episode.  General mediocrity after the pilot.

I didn't think it was that bad, except the finale.

A lot more could have happened in the finale, but it was good for what it was.
