I don't consider myself a fan but do like a few of their songs quite well like:

Descending, Ashes of the Wake, One Gun, Laid to Rest, Walk With Me in Hell, and Hourglass.

Every album except Wrath is awesome.

Wrath is an abortion.

I have to admit, Chris Adler is an awesome drummer. He plays bad ass parts and look like they are just fun to play.

I enjoy me some LoG from time to time.

Ashes of The Wake is my favorite album and Set To Fail is my favorite song.

I'll be honest though, I find their vocalist a bit annoying (not sure if thats the right word) after a while.

But they have a lot of songs that kick ass, and like someone said earlier Chris Adler is an awesome drummer.

For those who enjoy *heavy* metal, this album delivers.  Lots of hooks, lots of riffs, Randy's vocals are better then they have been in at least 2 albums.  The musicianship is very good on this disc, everyone is in top form.  This thing rocks.  This is a serious contender to be album of the year for me.

Not at all.  This completely blows Wrath out of the water.  This reminds me more of Ashes of the Wake than anything else.  It has good production like Sacrament though.  Very quality album.

Alex, I'm curious why don't you like Wrath.

I enjoy the album (not as much as Sacrament or Ashes) and wonder what you don't like about it?

It's boring. The song writing feels incredible weak. Randy's voice sounds fucking awful on it.

Even though I respectfully disagree, I can see how you would think that after an album like Sacrament. That album is near perfect IMO.

I actually only like about half of Sacrament honestly. Some of the tracks are easily the best material the band has written, but there are certainly a good amount of forgettable tracks to me. But nothing touches Ashes of the Wake and As the Palaces Burn. Nothing.

I'm kind of the odd one out, especially with Walk With Me In Hell. I've noticed that is practically a fan favourite. I just don't get it. It goes nowhere for me.

I know what you mean about sacrament, lat.  I can still throw the disc in and play the entire thing through though.  Ashes of the wake is very strong, and Wrath even has some good moments (set to fail, reclamation, contractor).  Resolution hasn't left my cd player in my car or in the gym since I bought it Tuesday after work.  From the moment the cd starts to the moment it ends, it is all raw and pure metal done by some very capable musicians and songwriters.  I think what stands out to me on this is that they have taken some risks in the songwriting, and where I'm standing, it has paid off.

''According to Czech news site Novinky.cz, Lamb of God vocalist Randy Blythe has been arrested in Prague on charges of manslaughter.

While I’ve only been able to scrounge up a rough translation of the report, Blythe’s arrest apparently stems from a concert that took place on May 24, 2010. Allegedly, a fan lept on stage during the show, resulting in a physical altercation with the frontman. The fan eventually succumbed to his injuries and died, leading to the charges Blythe now faces.

Fan-filmed videos of the concert in question are readily available on YouTube, although I have not been able to find footage of this specific incident as of yet.

The band was scheduled to perform at the Rock Café in Prague tonight along with All Shall Perish and Skeletonwitch; the venue’s official website confirms that Lamb of God have cancelled this evening’s performance, but does not specify the cause of the cancellation
.''

First thought: Maybe they'll have to cancel playing the tour with Dethklok and Gojira meaning GOJIRA GETS A LONGER SET

Second thought: That sucks.

Third thought: LONGER GOJIRA SET!!!!

"Lamb of God frontman Randy Blythe was arrested yesterday in Prague on charges of manslaughter stemming from a 2010 altercation with a Czech fan who came onstage during one of the band's shows and later died from injuries he sustained in the scuffle.

Czech news outlet Novinky reports (via Blabbermouth and MetalSucks) that the as-yet-unnamed fan jumped on the relatively low stage during the May 24, 2010 show at a venue called Abaton, and that he and Blythe got into a physical fight. Though there is still seemingly no video evidence of the altercation online (you can watch Lamb of God performing "In Your Words" at the show in question below), it is rumored by "those who know the band" that the fan might have been hit in the head with a microphone before being forcibly removed from the stage by security.

"Randy Blythe was falsely accused," reads a statement from Lamb of God's reps. "There is a team of lawyers working on it and he will be exonerated." Blythe's brother Mark has also said that the charge is "bogus and outrageous and will be dropped immediately." The Richmond, Virginia, band was forced to cancel its show at Prague's Rock Café that night and last night tweeted "#FreeRandyBlythe." At press time, the message has been formally retweeted nearly 1,800 times in the past 12 hours."

Randy Blythe was acquitted of all charges against him, and is a free man!  :metal
Truly inspiring in the way he handled this shitty situation, and it's a huge breath of relief to see someone clearly innocent from the start not screwed over because of who he was and his music, which many people consider something the cause of violence.
Not only a victory for him, but also for the metal community in general. We're not violent castaways and it's about time people realized it.
Anywho sorry for that personal rant at the end, but anybody else suspect Lamb of God's next album to be an absolute Category 5 hurricane of destruction?

Mad respect for Randy. The judge told him that he didn't need to be there, but him and his legal team showed up to everything. I was pretty sure that he was going to be acquitted after going over the evidence because there wasn't really anything against him, and the stuff the could be used against him wasn't very reliable because peoples testimonies changed, and there was just a lot of contradictions, but I digress.

LET'S GO LAMB OF GOD!!! :metal :metal :metal
