i totally lost my shit when manGENIE kept the hats/splashes goin during the octoban fill around 5:02. not a MP slam, but i always missed that when he played it...

yea i never thought it was possible to play because MP recorded the two parts seperately

I don't know how they do it, but somehow they add some really cool harmonies in JLB's lines, like in "before we lock the door" in Metropolis.
That is really kicking ass.

Awesome rendition of Metropolis!  :metal I agree, Genie totally nails it and they feel tighter as a band, agrees about the tempo too, it feels like listening to the actual CD-recording. I looked at the Great Debate and Forsaken video too, the audience totally rocked!

indeed, incredible performance of the whole band during the Metropolis...

...vids form Moscow and Kiev show them in perfect condiditon...simply awesome...

James sounds amazing in these latest videos.  It seems like he is playing it less safe....there is a more harsh element to his voice.  I hope that doesn't mean he at risk of blowing out his voice or something.  I can certainly deal with one or two missed notes when he sings with this much emotion.  I have never been more excited for the future of Dream Theater!
