My wife refers to this place as "that DT forum you hang out on", and she's cool with it. Not that I spend hours and hours on it, though. Even less since the birth of our daughter. But for a DT nerd like myself, it's the closest thing to home there is, even if I lurk more than I contribute.

Mine doesn't really care, since I'm rarely on it when I'm with her. Because we have a long-dstance relationship, it's never a problem, especially since when we're together (like this week) I'm only ever on DTF when I'm waiting for her to do something so we can hang out or when we're just sitting around watching TV together and one of us has a laptop out.

Before our relationship became long distance, she did joke about it from time to time. But, again, I wa alway happier to do things with her than surf DTF.

Anyways, mine is aware of the existence of the forum but she's not really interested in reading here or whatever.

Maybe you should talk to her and voice your concerns. If she can understand that this place helps you relax, or just that you really enjoy spending time here, then there wouldn't be a problem. She could bring it up because she feels like it's a waste of time, but if you explain to her then she would probably give you your space. You could always ask her to voice her concerns. Perhaps she probably just wants to spend a little more time with you and she's taking it out on DTF.. haha.

Just a thought..

I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces
