c'mon now, the album that sells everybody is Lift Your Skinny Fists. it gets more accolades than f#a#∞, Slow Riot and Yanqui get combined!

also, my vote for sleeper hit by GY!BE: "Steve Reich," from the BBC performance of "Hung Over as the Queen in Maida Vale." it's absolutely cruel that they didn't release it on LYSFLATH.

Really? It certainly seems to be the fan favorite, but it seems to me to be the worst place to start with the band, simply because of how immense it is.

F#A# is defnitely not the worst place to start. It was the first thing I heard and I loved it immediately.

That's true in my experience. I think I got into this band through Slow Riot and some F#A#. By the way I'm gonna play those chords on my guitar now.

I started with Storm off of LYSF and I was immediately hooked. I think it's still my favourite LP of theirs so that's what I'd recommend.

Yanqui UXO is a great album, although it's pretty hard to get into it (even for GY!BE's standards). Motherfucker=Redeemer is an amazing song. I don't really get the praise for RFORF, though. The first eight or nine minutes are amazing, that's true, but the middle part is pretty boring. The ending, however, is fantastic.

It should be noted that even Static gives me chills, that's how good this band is.

Sleep is my favourite song of theirs - didn't play it live when I saw them

Just glad they got back together though so I had a chance to experience them live. I didn't get into them until after they went on hiatus.
