And So I Watch You From Afar
« on: June 27, 2011, 02:30:12 AM »
Anyone else listen to And So I Watch You From Afar?  I just got into them with their album "Gangs."  Pretty damn good instrumental rock.

Both "feel" longer than they are (in a good way).

They're AWESOME! I saw them at Pukkelpop last year and they kicked some serious ass! They're amazing live!
I prefer their self-titled though.. This is the opening track on it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hRD8z4cTjTM

I've been getting into their s/t as well.

"Set Guitars To Kill" is a great song name, and a rocking tune for serious.

6 year+ bump  :lol  (hey, I couldn't find another thread for them so lets revive this one)

I know there are a few fans on here.

Just commencing first listen to their new album, The Endless Shimmering. Anyone else given it a listen yet?

I'd never heard of them until last year. One of the good things Scar did was send them in my roulette. I've gotten more and more into them which is cool. Also, I went around to a friend's for dinner sometime early this year and she had one of their album covers framed on her wall. Turns out her and her brother (who I also know) are big fans. They are playing near us next month so may go see them

Believe it or not, I jammed with these guys in a field on acoustics in 2008. Good times.

Love their debut but sadly haven't connected with much after that
