That's awesome! When I worked in this italian joint I used to pictionary-ize my customers' to go boxes. For instance, on a Chicken Parmesan I'd simply draw a proud looking chicken standing next to a wedge of parmesan with cheesy fumes wafting upward.

That's one job I could never do. I have no sense of direction. Sometimes, I get lost in my hometown. If I was a pizza boy every single pizza would be delivered cold.

Yeah that's true, it's cool that he fullfied that weird request, but I think he did this for a tip, if not, he is probably very cool person

Pretty sure the drawings are done by the people who make the pizzas, not the drivers. Last time I ordered one, I asked for just "animals" on the boxes, got one box with a snake, one with the sun (lolwut), and another with a NEOPET drawn on it

. I called and thanked them for their effort and it sounded like I made their night

Oh, you mean those things that got me hopelessly lost in Dallas? When I was trying to find a mall, it directed me to a dead end in an upscale rich neighborhood, and said something like "congratulations, you've reached your destination!" My ass.

Fix'd. I delivered for several years, and at least in my area, people hate tipping. Every once in a while, I might get $5 or more. Not to mention the ridiculously low amount they give you for gas and wear and tear on your own vehicle. It was great for me while I was in college, but I had already banked up money from a previous job, so it was mainly for extra income.

Back in the day, my old man used to deliver pizza, and apparently the restaurant that he worked for provided a vehicle, paid for gas and he got free leftovers from the kitchen.
He got minimum wage, but made a killing on tips, and had no vehicle issues to worry about paying for.

Good old days, eh?

Pizza delivery was the best job I've ever had.

With that said, we never had a customer who placed a cool order like this. Otherwise, I'd have been glad to help.

Him: Here you go. Drawing's crap but I did what I could.
Me: Haha, that's awesome. How often this happen?
Him: I probably get about two a week.
