Tomorrow is IPv6 day!

Probably not a lot of you are going to appreciate this, but tomorrow the first websites (including my company's websites, the 2nd website to ever exist) are switching from the old-style (IPv4, 32 bit) to IPv6 (128 bit). W00t!

The fewer standards adopted, the easier it is for companies to make things to standard, so yes, v5 (64 bit) was skipped.

Cool.  I learned about IPv6 in graduate school in 2003 but have not seen it taking off.  I think it's pretty big in the academic realm.

I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

I want ipv6 already, ipv4 with nat to make up for a lack of ipv4 addresses goes against the very idea of the internet >:|
