What do your forum stats say about you?

'Cause from the way my Posting Activity by Time looks, I don't get much sleep. :lol (5 AM is the only hour at which no activity at all has been averaged)

Choose whatever aspect you want, I'm just amazed by how much time I spend here (but I do so gladly :)).

I have over 7000 posts, but I wonder what small percentage of them actually are significant to the related threads I post in, or carry some kind of weight in the discussions. Sometimes when I look at my recent posts, they are mostly short ones like smilies, some image, or just something else that would be considered "spam", and don't contribute anything worthy.

Add to that my two long survivors I've ran during the last year (Kiss and Judas Priest), those must have contributed a lot to these 7000 posts.

Just I thought I've had for a while.

I've posted over 7,000 times in about 15 months of being a member here. You could argue that I'm a bit of a postwhore, but I don't post just to rack up numbers. I post a lot because I want to, and I spend a lot of free time on here. :lol Actually, about 1 in 5 of my posts never see the light of day. I hit reply, type out a post, read it over, decide it's not worth posting, and hit backspace. That happens alot. I'd like to think that the majority of my posts contribute to whatever is being discussed, but I know this is wishful thinking and probably not the case. :p

I love how most of my threads i start are either me bitching about something in GD or me posting something really random and deep about a dt song in DT. Like the Fortune in Lies teasers or Apocalyptic, JAMES LABRIE!

I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

Post statistics tell me that I make a fair amount of posts when I'm meant to be getting ready for school...And when I'm meant to be revising.

I also started posting just before exam season, therefore DTF is my procrastination tool.

Do you mean out of the time you're on? My average posts per day is about 2 higher than yours but if I average mine out for the whole day I make a post about every 4 hours.

I registered in 2007, and at 1500 posts that averages 1 a day. Hardly posted at all when I first registered though, and although I'm still no postwhore I am now more active than I've ever been before. I used to see this place as just a source of news, but these days I appreciate the community aspect of it too.

My forum stats say that I am active, but not outrageously so, on an online forum for fans of the progressive metal band Dream Theater, and have been since September of 2007. Anything else is just details.
