Petrucci s pants
« on: June 07, 2011, 01:37:44 AM »
Hi,
thanks to my friend, I recently discovered Dream Theater. My friend very admires John Petrucii and also plays the guitar. I want to make him happy and I know that he really liked one of his pants. I know it's a little crazy. He will be happy if I buy him this pants to his birthday. I searched the internet and I could not find anything. But you're a fans and I thought to ask you if you at least know the brand of pants, or where I could inquire further. Thanks a lot

This has got to be one of the greatest first posts in the history of the forum.  :lol

Anyways, I don't really have any idea. But good luck with the search!

A few years ago, a friend bought me a pair of Petrucci's pants which I keep framed on my wall. Last year I actually got Petrucci to autograph them. I could sell them to you but I won't accept anything less than $350 plus something that holds some kind of substantial sentimental value to you (no stuffed animals from childhood, please). It evens out that way, you see.

So if you're interested, please let me know and we'll work out a deal.

Definite possibility. I also thought maybe JNCO or some other raver/skater company that around back in the day.

Ohhh "Jinko"  :D I remember in '97 a few of my friends got into the rave scene and for the few months where I tried to get into techno I wanted a pair of them so bad but even as a somewhat frivolous 17-year old I couldn't justify shelling out an entire week of my part-time Wendy's earnings just for a cleverly stitched denim pup tent.

I did find a possible new lead for this however:

They look like common bondage-style pants. I suggest you look for the brand name Tripp. They carry a lot of stuff like that and I'm sure you could find something almost exact to the ones petrucci has.

You started some thread or the other about a pants incident, and it just seemed logical.  In any case, I'm glad to see a recent post of yours because, like lonestar, I get kinda sad when I see the code for that emoticon without seeing you around.
