Well that was certainly underwhelming. It's just an add on to Reach similar to ODST for Halo 3.

I'm going to try and catch most of the Nintendo conference, not sure if I will be able to see all of it though. Very curious to see the rumoured new console.

Kinect has a lot of potential. And most of the "actual games" are multiplatform and will thus be shown at their relevant press events. Seriously, I don't get why people get frustrated about showing off stuff for their unique tech.

That said, did we really need another demo of how motion control golf works?

I know it does, they've had over a year to get their act together and release something worth a damn. It really says something when the best thing they're going to release looks like Sesame Street.

I'm watching a bit of the ubi conference now. Assassins creed trailer was kinda cool, too bad I will never play it.

I'm actually only interested in what Nintendo has to present tommorow and HL2:ep3 (will never happen

). Don't have any non-nintendo consoles and my computer is too crappy to play anything new.

My issue with there being ANY MORE FUCKING HALO GAMES or even GOD DAMN REMAKES is there won't be that certain charm the older games tend to have with me. Especially with the Halo: CE remake. One of the biggest things I loved about Halo and Halo 2 were the amounts of bugs, exploitables and all the wonderful shit you could do to the games that have become borderline impossible to find since the games are always airtight in terms of development.

My thoughts on Kinect:

This is what they should have opened up with last year. I'm still not sold on the Kinect, but at least they're showing more potential with the system now. My favorite bit was Ghost Recon and manipulating the weaponry. I thought it was cool how they figured out how to aim and shoot with just your hands, but I'm not sure how that will transfer to a completely controller-less game. I just can't see it being useful unless the game is on rails (like Star Wars Kinect). I just see it as being more of a supplement to existing games (like in Mass Effect 3, which was pretty cool, but I'm a PC guy and will transfer my progress on there).
