I don't find this album to be nearly as good as the S/T after several listens.

I thought this should go here(?):

Samples from T.R.A.M.'s upcoming album Lingua Franca. They sound dope bomb diggity.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0076PDK9U/280-6075115-7043739

p.s. for those not in the know: T.R.A.M. is a band featuring the guitarist and drummer from Animals as Leaders plus two other guys.

Now that the newness has worn off, I can say my last post is wrong. This new album's still good, but it doesn't have anywhere near the memorability of the s/t album. Shame, really.

I definitely feel the exact opposite. The new album is still my favourite of the two. Odessa and Isolated Incidents are fucking amazing songs.
I felt its length in quite a few places.

AAL's music sounds like it was designed specifically for my brain to pleasure it

Wait, it was designed for your brain to pleasure AAL?
Cole: "Ow I just got hit in the balls"
Me: "How?"
Cole: "Well you know when you try to scratch your balls, and you scratch too hard?
I'll admit sometimes I want to listen to Dragonforce.

Periphery is the only band that can sucessfully pull off 3 guitarists.
There's plenty of bands that can do this. Iron Maiden comes to mind.
Maiden has 3 guitarists???  ???
Yeah but they still sound like they have 2.

Radiohead have three guitarists but they sound like they have 1.

And it's in the case.

And it's got no strings on.

Not to derail the ranking but in case you guys didn't know, Navene left the band. The new guy's pretty darn good though. His name's Matt Garska. Here's a performance clip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HDfqfBrnTcA

So I just saw Animals as Leaders live for 2nd time.

They were opening for Thrice and I must say that it was pretty funny to see every single girl in the building simultaneously take out their phone and start texting or go on facebook. One girl even had her head in her arms like she was gonna cry. Man, oh man.

Same here a few weeks ago, however I also took my phone out and started texting. I like AAL in very, very small doses.

Preorders are live, but based on a lot of the comments, I'm not sure I want to. Whatever site the preorders are on, I see a lot of complaints about shipping prices and stories of past bad experiences with the place. Which is a shame, the poster and some of those shirts look badass.

Yeah you are most likely going to be waiting for sometime for the pre-order to arrive if you order from there. The shipping is usually very expensive too.
If you don't mind it then go for it. If you just want the CD right away, I'd just order it from best buy.

Would anyone here be able to, if I sent them an AaL recording, tell me the track names and approximately how long each song lasts?
