If there's anybody who's posted in this thread that hasn't heard SikTh; you need to fucking remedy that right now.

I learned about SikTh seeing one of PTH's guitarists wearing one of their shirts, actually. AcidRainLTE still gets credit for actually getting me into them though :hat

Yep, for me it was a combination of DTF and Luke Hoskin pimping them on a youtube video.

I think its let down by Rody's slightly off performance (though he does extremely well all things considered) and the ultra cheesy editing.  hehe.

I'm ok with this.

At first I thought it was stupid sounding, but then I looked up the definition and it makes sense now; I can totally see them naming the album that. For anyone who's curious:

scurrilous |ˈskərələs|
adjective
making or spreading scandalous claims about someone with the intention of damaging their reputation : a scurrilous attack on his integrity.
• humorously insulting : a very funny collection of bawdy and scurrilous writings.
Gadough isn't Hitler. He's much, much worse.

The Palladium upstairs? Ugh they played there last time and the sound was garbage. It's a god damn foyer not a venue.

this is a bit surprising, but in revisiting Fortress and Kezia this morning, the mixing on the cymbals on the earler record Kezia is VASTLY BETTER than on Fortress. I've always preferred Kezia to Fortress, but I never really regarded the production work as a factor. Now knowing that, Kezia seems that much better a record.

God, why the fuck can't bands pay attention to this shit before finishing the mixing and mastering work ont the album? Cymbals aren't supposed to clip. Fortress now has just become a tad worse record for me (although I've heard much worse jobs on the cymbals ruining good music).
