Damnit...I was going to visit my Aunt Emily in Ny.
Guess I'll stay home with my sister Dot instead.
Take care everyone - Bet you all didn't even notice I was gone.

Happy Lives to you all.

My landlady is mortally afraid of thunder and lightening, this is gonna be interesting. She has spent nights behind the front door, ready to jump out in case lightning strikes.

EDIT: Ah, I hear thunder!

That area always gets the brunt of storms.  Worcester, Ma, which is right next to it always gets bombed with snow.

edit -- wait a minute. you're in Worcester? That's east of Springfield by the looks of it... this storm system is only just coming your way right now, but yeah they said that tornado/storm "just brushed Worcester". And it sounds like your area isn't being warned or anything, don't take me wrong. But the big green/red mass on the weather satellite thingy is moving in your direction, that's all. I dunno, they have a pretty big warning on the TV for the whole Worcester county. Looking at the storm map, the storm is actually on top of us right now.

Either way, I'm not worried at all. It's just thundering where I am, and I really doubt any tornado will hit my town.

Ah yup, East Brookfield... that's my town. :lol Fun!

But it looks like it JUST passed us. The TV says that the town about 10 minutes south of me had cars turned over on the highway.

That was... exciting?  :lol

Good luck to those of you east of me

They destroyed the street next to my Grandma's house in Springfield, MA. Houses destroyed, cars overturned. You can't even drive down the street. I'm about an hour away, and all we got were wicked bad thunder storms.

Four people died in the Springfield, MA tornado.  How sad.  That NEVER really happens around here....
Now that Obama has closed Gitmo, when will he turn his attention to the abuses and torturing of the onions that are used to make the angry whopper?
