Me: "How?"
Cole: "Well you know when you try to scratch your balls, and you scratch too hard?
I'll admit sometimes I want to listen to Dragonforce.

  • But then I took a Hef to the knee...
I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

They're most likely from the Winter Rose album on which JLB sang, then.
... And you ask me: "Where's my hairspray?"

Damn, I wish I had my headphones so I could listen to that, but I think I'd be killed if I just blasted it right out of the speakers with my sis doing schoolwork ndxt to me, lol.

Yep, the two I wanted to know were 'thrill of the night' and 'I'll never fall in love again'.
Thanks

I'm scared...

By the way: is it bad that I know where every single scream is from, except for the first one?

A lot of people REALLY hate this kind of high singing nowadays. I showed JLB to my girl flatmate last year to show her how awesome it is and she was literally disgusted.

I guess growing up with Linkin Park and then being an Avenged Sevenfold fan or whatever makes you not like operatic singing.

I'm most of the time alright with JLBs singing; for me he is a key element in their sound. However, he's done a few wrecks, for example;

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kde6bb3ULyc (around 2:46) ... I'm sorry, but that is just awful xD

I have to say I don't like it that much either. Of the general genre of metal screams, JLB's are definitely on the weak side. At times it sounds like a cat being stepped on (sorry).

:omg:

Although sometimes it doesn't sound wonderfully clean, it's very hard to sing that high...it's very difficult for a male to do (even I can't do it and I'm a girl...) and that's why it's so impressive. His high but clean notes are the best though IMO even if they are super high.
