So here we are, finally!!
First place: sonatafanica: Gold Mine Gutted by Bright Eyes
I love this song! I Thought this was kind of a happy song at first, but after paying attention to the lyrics I’m not so sure anymore. Either way, lovely song. It’s so simple, just the way I like it. Like you said, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, ... 13 points
Second place:
TheVoxyn: Lowe by Broken Chords
Great track! I like electronic music so this was a nice surprise really. This is really the kind of music I’ve come to like more over the past months so it was very nice to hear some more stuff like it. 12 points
Marvellous G: Seek up by Dave Matthews Band
Whew, this song sure was a lot to digest! Indeed a very solid performance! I haven’t heard the original so I didn’t notice that the chorus was “kind of lame”. But it was a lot to digest! Everything was so amazing that I can’t help the feeling I missed some awesome stuff. This song needs way more than a few weeks to be fully appreciated. But based on this song you’ve got a new Dave Matthews Band fan! 12 points
Fourth place: zxlkho: Three Tigers by The River Empires
What a great drum beat! This certainly was something else genre-wise. I like it, but I guess I need some getting used to the sound. Great pick however, can’t really say much more! 11 points
Fifth place:
ClarivoyantCat: Oh, Charitable Thief by O’ Brother
Oh my, this song was amazing! I am a big post-rock fan indeed, and put that together with those dreamy vocals and you know you’ve got a winner. I had never heard of this band before, but based on this song I love them. I rated it less because I have so much post rock already, and I’m trying to “expand my musical horizons” so to speak. But still, great pick! 10 points
dethklok09: Holiday in Cambodia by Dead Kennedys
A very nice punk track but the vocals kind of set me off. I think that if I’d listen to this more I’d get over them though. Anyway, apart from the vocals, very nice track! 10 points
Seventh place:
Quadrochosis: Porcelain by Demians
I’d heard the name Demians a few times before, I think a (former?) member of the forum is a member of this band. Anyway, based on this song it sure isn’t progressive metal. I liked it a lot, especially the intro. I would’ve liked it better if the drums didn’t kick in so all of a sudden though. I don’t know, it felt like it kind of changed the nice atmosphere this song created. Solid pick though! 9 points
Gorille85: In The Mind Of The Last Whale by Unexpect
I’ve got to say, I didn’t look forward to listening to this song because I know Unexpect are a pretty heavy metal band. Luckily, I couldn’t hear that in this song. A very nice soundscape, but it was a little too creepy for me. It exceeded my expectations by miles though! 9 points
Ninth place: Nic35: Who’s The Boss In The Factory by Karmakanic
This song certainly wasn’t bad, but I’m afraid it just didn’t click with me. It’s just there, nothing really special about it for me. It had some very beautiful parts, but some parts were just not my taste at all. Kind of hit and miss throughout the song. 8 points
Tenth place: Jamesman: Not With Me by Superior
Sorry James! I assure you this has nothing to do with my rankings in your roulette, really! This song was just way too heavy for me, I didn’t like it at all. I listened to it several times but I always wanted it to be over throughout the song. Luckily the vocals weren’t growling or screaming! 6 points

On to round 5!! Which is again a themed round.. Acoustic! It can be anything from acoustic guitar to piano to violin.. It can be sad or joyful, up to you! Both are equal in my opinion. Good luck gentlemen!
