I have a presentation 11 hours from now.

It is the final presentation of the year and the professor is making us dress up hardcore. Up until now, all we had to wear was shirt and tie, but he told us to dress up even more legit than that. I think it's absurd that we have to dress up in the first place, but whatever. This is what I plan on wearing and my mother is giving me all kinds of shit for the tie I plan on wearing. Your thoughts?

Could you imagine Gordon Gekko wearing that tie?  I don't think so.  Be classier.  You're professor doesn't want you to put on nice clothes and express yourself, he wants you to be "dressed up."  The tie breaks that image.

Normally the tie would be patently ridiculous, but with the Osama psy-op in full swing, there's a narrow window of opportunity to show your "patriotism" with fewer social repercussions -- although it still looks ridiculous.

Long story short, I split open my head last night and because of my blood thinners it didn't stop bleeding for almost 12 hours. I didn't go in this morning to present, I though blood running down my face the whole time would have been distracting. I have to present Thursday now and I feel the window for the patriotic tie has now shut.
