Here's a BIG upload to celebrate Mike Mangini joining Dream Theater as the new, and long awaited, drummer! The announcement was made last friday and the video(s) of the auditions can be seen on Youtube on RR's channel.
This is probably one of the best concerts the band delivered in their 25+ years career, right in front of the biggest crowd Italy ever provided them.
The setlist is great, and the band performs a three hour and a half set spotlessy. Highlight of the night: pretty much every single song played :D, but i suggest to check out the keyboard solo, that features an excerpt from one of the most well known song of the Italian progressive scene. The crowd was really into it, and you can clearly tell that what you are hearing caught on the tape are the voices of more than nine thousand people singing along in amazement the melody of an evergreen 70s anthem.
Aside from that, the setlist is pherhaps the most complete from the awesome 2004 world tour. The only missing piece is Trial Of Tears, but there are plenty of other songs to compensate its absence.
So, without further ado, download the best Italian Dream Theater show and enjoy it!

Lineage: Unknown. Obtained in a mail trade.
Artwork: There is supposed to be one (February Impressions), but sadly it was not included in the trade.
Sound Quality: A-
