FTP help
« on: April 28, 2011, 02:19:17 PM »
Hey all,

I did some sound work for a documentary premiering this weekend and I need to get the files to the producer FTP style.  I've gotten files from his server no problem, and he set up an account for me to upload the files from my end but I'm not really sure what to do next.  I'm on firefox (of course) and I'm using Windows 7.

Any takers?

Do you have a FTP client yet? If not, I recommend:

https://filezilla-project.org/

There's plenty of videos/documents that tell you how to set it up:

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

You can use a windows browser to access the FTP.  Just go to my computer and type in the ftp address you need to upload too and you can then log in.
If anyone in this thread judge him; heyy James WTF? about you in Awake In Japan? Then I will say; WTF about you silly?

Thanks, all.  I think I got it figured out.  The client was already set up, I just needed to map a network drive from my end.

This.  This is what we use to transfer files where I work.
