Something quite spectacular
« on: April 20, 2011, 10:11:57 AM »
What is high definition for, if not capturing spectacular time-lapse images of the Milky Way from Spain's tallest mountain? Take a moment to watch and listen...I can almost guarantee you that your day will improve.

I liked some of the images so I did a few screencaps and they actually turned out as neat wallpapers for semi-high res desktops. I am running 1600x1200 and they fit decently with a bit of a border:

Ludovico Einaudi - Nuvole Bianchi'

That's the song for anyone who is interested, it's one of my favorites, John Lenehan does a great version of it as well.  (oops just noticed the song is in the description)

Anyway, back on topic. The video is breath taking, hiking on this mountain has now entered my list of things to do before I die.

Watching that whilst listening to Fly by Devin Townsend seems so much more appropriate. :tup
