hey guy's so i found a new passion of editing images and i have to say it's pretty awesome:)... so last weekened i downloaded Photoshop (30 days trial).. and i've been playing with it and it's pretty cool:-)!!! so i've been making some artwork of my somewhat "future" albums :P...

here's the logo of my "future band"

"NightTime Eclipse"

"The 11th Element"

Tell me what you think of the artworks :blush

The first one is cool. The 'timeless' font on "album covers" is a little too thin. And the pictures are a little blurry. Nice ideas though.

If you don't have $500 dollars laying around when the trial ends you might consider using The GIMP.  It's not photoshop but it supports layers and has many of the same abilities as photoshop.  AND.......  IT's FREE.

All the stuff you see of mine that I do in the Photoshop DTF thread is done with GIMP.

This is what I'm proudest of, to date.

The left is the actor, the middle is the character he voiced. I tried to make the actor look like his counterpart.
Listen! Do you smell something?

For the neck part. I'd copy it from the old pic resize it, shear it, etc. to make it look seamless in the new pic.  That way you can still get the shirt shadow and you can lost the pixely look.
