Myself and a good number of posters here have been waiting almost 8 years for this new album. Now, finally, forged from the distant, biting cold of some Scandinavian country somewhere, the new Thundersword single hath been brought forth to us through the realm of the mighty Soundcloud.

In a brief interview conducted by The Metal Forgery, we were able to catch up with Hugar Hellingstone himself, the vocalist who is said to have fought off a dragon merely with the power of his voice.

The Metal Forgery: So Hugar, tell us about the new record.

Hugar Hellingstone: Well, in a word, it's bombastically overpoweringly indulgently delightful! Fans of "The Odyssey" will find that we have a very, very similar sound. Mostly, we just chose a band like Symphony X and thought, "hey, this is a band we want to sound like. Let's sound as much like them as possible!" And, if nothing else, I think everyone will agree that we accomplished that.

TMF: So, you've got a new single coming out, then?

HH: Yes, and we are quite proud of that one. You can really relate to the prospect of being on the eve of fighting the biggest and most terrifying dragon of your life! I think that a lot of people going through hard times will find some emotional comfort in this song, in particular.

TMF: Any other words to the loyal fans?

HH: My dear fans, there is a Thunder Sword in all of you. Your task is to find it, wield it responsibly, and slay the mighty dragon of life. Hail to the king, baby!
