The great thing about Louis is that he constantly changes his set yearly and his stuff is still strong and funny.  The man is an artist.

Well this special has 1 and a half funny people, so I'll pass.

(For the record, Seinfeld has never been funny, Chris Rock stopped being funny a few years ago, Gervais is cool but not amazing, and C.K. is fucking amazing.)

I could see this going down as either the greatest event comedy has witnessed or the worst. Either way, I will be watching.

He also has probably the best comedic performance of all time under his belt.  Not to mention most of his output over the last few years has been him, Stephen Merchant and Karl talking.

I'm betting CK will bring the house down though.

Pffft... Louis C.K. doesn't swear! ::)

Also... Jerry Seinfeld is funny. However, I do think Larry David meant more to Seinfeld (show) than Jerry did as far as writing goes. I think Jerry owes a lot of his success to David.

Man, I had the misfortune of seeing an episode of Lucky Louis once. It was just so mindblowingly terrible. I love Louis C.K., but that show was just beyond unwatchable. It was like a junior high play, but with less production value, worse acting, and lamer writing.

But anyway, I'll definitely be checking this out. Seinfeld, Louis CK, and Gervais can all be absolutely hilarious, and Chris Rock has his moments.

This was something new but these four individuals are everything I knew they were.
With the exception of Gervais; they're very decent people and very creative comedians.
Gervais is just a repulsive entity, just like my previous impression of him. Aside from the fact that he's almost never funny; he's incredibly pretentious, he got really lucky with The Office, which is okay, to be lucky that is. And now he's considered a top comedian? his stand up is awful and his public persona has a P.Diddy stickiness to it, it was so cool how early in the show Jerry was trying to point out that the way Gervais was dressed was of a trendy Hollywood casual nature, but Gervais made it about his weight loss.
Jerry Seinfeld is a walking legacy, his observational comedy in stand up and TV writing was genius for it's time although some of it still makes me laugh today, just for the delivery.
Chris Rock is simply the best still-relevant active stand up comic out there today, all five of his HBO stand up specials across the last 15 years have been hilarious, each of them topping the one before it, up to the 2008 one Kill The Messenger.

dude WTF. Gervais is the greatest comic figure of the last decade. He got LUCKY with the office? Are you serious? Plus Extras might even be better than the office. Not to mention the Ricky Gervais show which is funnier than anything currently on TV right now. Also i've watched his stand up specials more than any of the other comedians on that panel and i like them all. Gervais is the King. He also owned the Golden Globes.
